Water Filtration Made Easy!
Nowadays water filtration systems don’t have to be complicated or expensive. Great systems can be purchase for under a 100 dollars. But first you have to decide how much filtration you need. This will have a lot to do with your needs and your pocketbook. You can purchase a “whole house system” which is what it sounds like. It filters the whole house. You can get a great quality one for under a 1000 dollars. Next you have the countertop or the under the sink types. These can be purchased for under 200 dollars. Then you also have shower filters that take the chlorine out of your shower water. These can be purchased for under 100 dollars.
We decided on the Aquasana brand and bought a combo pack from an online store called Better Water Store. Their prices were great and included free shipping. We got both the Aquasana AQ-4500 undercounter system along with a Aquasana AQ-4100 shower filtration system. Both filters have cartridges that last six months with normal usage. Installation was a snap and we were up and running in about an hour with both systems. We choose to do the installation ourselves. We’re glad we got the systems as our water tastes and feels great now.
