A Medicine Ball Workout Releases Built Up Tension
Feeling a little stressed out these days? Looking to release some built up tension? Instead of drinking your way out of your stress why not try to put in some exercise? Take a medicine ball and throw it. Throw it against a wall. Throw it to a workout partner. Throw it at a medicine ball rebounder or just slam it against the floor. And I mean slam it. Just hold the ball over your head, feel the stretch in your abs, and as you begin the throw the ball down to the floor, engage your abdominals. Now slam the ball straight down onto the floor. It feels good, right? I thought so.
People pay a lot of money to deal with anger management. A medicine ball is an inexpensive alternative and exercising with one in a strength-training program helps you stay strong. Letting out some anger by slamming a medicine ball the floor is one way you can make a lot of noise and people won’t think you’ve lost it. Okay so maybe you’re going to have to tone down the screaming but loud grunts are acceptable and in fact a good and appropriate way to release tension. So try a slam or a throw and see if it relieves your levels.
